Prof. Ren group engages in theoretical and computational studies in electromagnetics and semiconductor, focusing on multiphysics and interdisciplinary research areas such as the advanced package in Integrated circuit. The research topics are inspired by applications in several areas including solar energy, microwave/optical communication. Our research involves fundamental and applied aspects in computational electromagnetics, plasmonics, emerging photovoltaics, light-emitting diodes, metasurfaces, as well as the EDA on electrical/optical integrated circuits (IC) and system in package (SiP, i.e. advanced package).

My research interest mainly includes:

 

  • Numerical Methods and Physics in Electromagnetic;

  • Metamaterials;

  • nano-optics;

  • Plasmonics Effect in Solar Cells;

  • Electrical and Optical Simulation of Optoelectronics

  • EDA in EM and IC

  • Advanced Package

  • System in package (SiP) /System on chip (SoC)

1. 课题组负责人 任信钢 博士 为 安徽大学高层次引进人才,安徽省“百人计划”、安徽省“青年皖江学者” 获得者 ,长期从事计算电磁学,微纳光学,光电子器件,多物理建模仿真及器件物理研究以及光电集成电路EDA设计研究,依托安徽大学先进集成电路设施平台(双一流学科重点支持)开展芯片级先进封装理论和实验研究,课题组欢迎具有 电磁理论,半导体物理,计算机,及数学等背景的同学报考!

2. 课题组与美国特拉华大学、香港大学、浙江大学、西北工业大学、武汉理工大学、上海技术大学 等高校具有稳定的合作交流,特别优秀的学生将推荐至香港及海外高校继续深造。

3. 课题组同时欢迎优秀的本科生进入实验室,提前进行学术训练,培养目标为创新型毕业生,预期成果为SCI收录论文一篇。
